The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the food very much but I did think the portions were a little on the small side for the price you paid, 44qar for the Arancini is excessive.Would I go back? Yes I would, as I said the food was fantastic and finally a decent espresso in Doha.
Kindly staff. The location its far from where I live, but I was curious to try this place. I can said they have nice décor for the dishes. But I was shock when my friend order pasta with white sauce and chicken (if you ask that kind of dish in Italy, they look at you in strange way) The panna cotta was very nice. The pizza with nutella its much better in one other Italian restaurant.
We enjoyed our dinner last night in Mercato Antico. This is our fourth time to go to this Italian resturant whixh has a beautiful and relaxing interior. The resturant is located in Alwakrah old Sook facing the seaside.The food was fresh and properly prepared. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food as dishes are homely made and they use they best ingredients. I have ordered their new starter stuffed mushrooms which was really good. And for my main the Salmon Perfetto which I enjoyed very much. The salmon was cooked as it should and had an excellent taste. They also serve delicious thin base Italian pizzas and freshly made pastas which I advice any one going there to try. Staff were friendly and the service was good. I highly recommend this place.
Their interior was warm and posh and welcoming. A bit overpriced and smaller portions but quality of food was superb. Every single dish we tried was amazing. Their mushroom pizza was creamy and cheesy and just perfect. Will definitely go back again to try their gnochi
