Its a little late review but guess better late than never! We went there for eid dinner. It was our second visit to the place, with a significant gap from the first, though we left the restaurant the first time with a definitive resolution to come back. It was almost midnight but the restaurant was fully packed( it was eid, so was open late night) n the staff remained as friendly as ever..everything we ordered that night from soup n starters to dessert n tea just came out perfectly. The sweetcorn chicken soup was rightly viscous and of perfect taste. Dragon chicken went straight to our favorites. Beef roast, Mutton masala and butter chicken everything was of good quantity while taste is not compromised to the least. Special mention to their Kerala porotta( which is big and thoroughly beaten) n karak tea( which is something that itself makes u go back to the place)..food is averagely priced but when u consider the quantity n quality with which they served, i would even say more worthier for money..friendly staff, not too long waiting time, adequate parking in the front all go to the bonus list. Overall very well satisfied n definitely recommended for a good kerala dinner!!

I went for 12QR lunch buffet on wednesday and was welcomed with good food. The ambience is not that great but the service is good. The taste reflects the authenticity of kerala cuisines.

The portions at Black Olive are quite filling and they deal with a variety of cuisines. The staff is friendly, and it’s a well kept place. Revolves around Kerala dishes but experiments with others too. A nice go on your taste buds!

Blackolive Qatar – We were quite surprised when they served us a chicken soup as a welcome drink, but I must mention – it was really good!We had a very basic dinner of Kerala Porotta and beef roast, taste wise it was good, good portion and good price. I would have loved it if it had a little more beef than it actually contained, it was a little less IMO.Had a satisfactory dinner and wasn’t disappointed at all.#qatar #dohaqatar #dohafoodblog #blackoliveqatar #porottabeef
