The location is not hard to locate in middle of a petrol shed. However the authentic Kerala food is unbeatable specially there duck roast and mutton curry. Very affordable.

Visited this place for a couple of times for dinner and lunch. The wheat porotta they gave is not at all usable. It was just like a thick chappathi without any flakes in it. Usually kerala porotta will be with flakes and soft. Huge disappointment!!
Restaurant is good for the price range. Staffs are amazingly warm and helpful, especially Surya who serves in the first floor of the restaurant. Meals they offer is good. I wouldn’t recommend having anything else from the menu. Biriyani is good, if you can ignore the guilt after having it, as it is way too oily.
Typical kerala restaurant with Indian cuisine. Pocket friendly. Moderate taste and cost. Common menu. Family can come. Better to sit on the top floor. Some days they provide free welcome soup. Nan, butter chicken, garlic chicken, chilly chicken can have multiple times. In short, an average budget hotel for keralites. Rony Frederick
First of all, this is not a Malabar Restaurant, this place tastes like the chefs or owners are from Central Travancore (Madhya Kerala). They serve most of what you would find in a Kerala Menu but with a difference that for a change it does not taste North Kerala (Malabar). I had lunch here on Friday and let me tell you the Payasam had dried Ginger (Chukku) added along with Jaggery and had fried coconut pieces in ghee to bite on. The aroma and taste was nearly as it would appear in Central Travancore. The curry, buttermilk, veg sides and sambar has the twist and turns of the region too. I had to mention about the payasam (sweet) which very often is a neglected dish in many North Kerala Restaurants. They prepare them in ghee and add more of it to make it tastier when the real ingredients aren’t their at all to make a difference. For a lunch as low as 10 QAR, I think its is worth going here than the many Malabar restaurants you find every nook and corner for almost the same price. The staff who served was a Nepali guy who believes that if he does a good job, his customers will return which is nice and good to have. The place is kept clean to the best they can I guess but overall it is cleaner than some small joints I have been . Must visit to find a hint of Travancore if you would like which is a rarity here in Qatar. The rating is based on accessibility, food quality, taste, ambiance and value for money.27/11/2015 : My recent visit to this place has forced me to review the way I have rated this place in the past. I have downgraded the restaurant. Stay away.
