It’s a very popular restaurant, and held in high regard by regulars. It exclusively provides takeaway services. And we did see some very large orders. We thought we’d start with Arabian dish, so we ordered the Lamb Machboos. I liked the waiting area and the service was polite and fast. The takeaway package was really large. It’s a lot of Machboos for the price. Large, succulent lamb pieces. The rice on its own was of fine quality. But the dish as a whole lacked flavor. A bit too dry and the sauce provided was too hot (red chilli flavored). It desperately needed a supporting soup or a runnier sauce (the usual tomato and herbs one). They also included two boiled eggs, which is a welcome addition usually, but added to the dryness of the dish.There’s a still a lot of the menu that I want to try, and it’s definitely the best value deal. Only wish the taste measured upto the quality and quantity of the serving.
