I have long been a fan of Galler from my days living in Dubai, when I would regularly pop over to Wafi Mall to indulge in one of their famous Hot Chocolates.So, yesterday I was very happy to be invited to the Grand Opening of their first Boutique and Tea Room here in Qatar at the Mall of Qatar, with the Belgian Ambassador, Christophe Payot in attendance to cut the inaugural ribbon.Galler Boutique and Tea Room occupies quite a small space on the first floor of the mall (opp LG..thanks Zomato for directions!), but has extra seating outside for diners to enjoy their food and drinks. I was quite surprised with the number of items on their menu, to be honest, as I assumed it would mostly be cakes and coffee.There is a tasty and appealing selection of Breakfast items, Starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Desserts, Cakes and Tarts and Beverages on offer and we got to taste many items at the opening.Dishes of note were the Salmon Bites, the Quite Quinoa/Mountain Chevre/Green Field Salads, the tasty Croque Monsieur sandwich and the Chocolate Mellow and Pavlova Desserts. The Hot Chocolate, as mentioned, is also especially good (with a bit of added extra sugar in my case).Galler also sells a range of ice-cream and sorbet, macarons, chocolates and pre-packaged gift items too.Well worth a visit! qatarandyonder.com
