Amazingly awesome Macaroons so delicious it’s just melt in your mouth soft. So fresh and great variety of flavor. Not the most desirable of places to have a shop. But definitely would recommend to all to try the macaroons.
Hidden gem of a place. I have been eyeing this place for sometime now, wanting to go in everytime we go to Al mana petrol station. I atlast did visit the shop yesterday. Its so cute and colourful place, totally unexpected in the area. Multicolor macaroons and cakes on display just lured us in. Macaroons were one of the best in Doha- crunchy on outside and fluffy inside. We liked most of the flavor but tiramisu n orange was my favorite. Definitely will pick a box everytime we go for gas.
When Timothy Carr told me he had a sweet treats for me that night, I couldn’t contain my excitement. He told me on a voice message that while filming, they passed by to this dessert parlor. He said they had all sorts of goodies there. That night I hurried to get home as the desserts were waiting for me. I was expecting three mini cakes and a box of macaron but I guess he couldn’t wait any longer to try it. But luckily he’s not into macarons so he gave them all to me.After we had our dinner, we jumped right away to our favorite part. The desserts! We first tried the coffee sweet cake. I knew it was coffee flavor as it has coffee beans design on the bottom of the cake.It was soft, chewy, chocolatey and yummy. The beans weren’t that bitter so he and I enjoyed them. Next on plate was the mixed berries cake. I’m a fan of berries but this one isn’t my type. I only shoveled a bite and gave up. It was good, fruits were sweet enough. But I didn’t like bottom part. He really enjoyed it as he finished them all.I ate the macarons the next day as they were all too cute to be eaten. Took a slice of each so I can taste them all. They were all good but my favorite are the mint green which I think is the pistachio and the light brown which is chocolate. They were all crunchy and fluffy at the same time.Their designs are really eye catching and mouth watering. Perfect for all occasions and for all ages. hesaidshesaiddoha.com
This place is hidden away in a very busy petrol station, and man is this a hidden gem! They make some really delicious macarons, almost on par with La Duree (the gold standard). Haven’t tried their patisserie, but it looked really really good.Overall the decor is nice and simple, well done and to the point. The service and staff are really nice, and know their food through and through.Their product packaging is very well done, and very simple and clear. Love the concept!
