I really enjoyed my experience at Abbysinia. The ambiance upstairs was relatively authentic. We ordered the Abbysinia combination plate, along with the Yebeze Awaze Tibs. We did ask for the kitfo to be cooked, since we were unfamiliar with the place and not sure we wanted to eat raw beef. Everything was delicious. That being said, we found it curious that there were no vegetarian options at all on the night that we went. We were told that the vegetarian combo was only available on Friday nights. Pity, because we would have loved to have tried it. Overall, I can highly recommend this place. We were quite pleased with the meal. It was filling and cost less than QR 100, even with a QR 20 tip. The service was exceptional. The server came several times to check up on us and make sure we had everything we needed, including more injera. This is a great place to come for a culinary adventure.
