Visited caramel for valentines dinner date.. ambience was lovely and romantic..with candles lighted all over..very friendly staff especially Ms naziha makes the evening special for usFood was just ok nothing great..the place is perfect for a nice romantic evening..
Caramel is a lovely, cozy cafe located at the City Centre Rotana Hotel. The ambience of the place is very lovely, and for a café, it is really well designed. Highly recommended to try their puddings, which are appropriately sweet, and can easily be shared between 2-3 people. Their pastry counter looks absolutely delicious and tempting (more next time!).Their Poire Belle Helene ice-cream is very unusual and recommended. The staff there are very courteous and attentive especially Ms.Nazia who was very diligent and assisted well in describing the menu.No points of recommendation yet as I’ve still to try more items on their menu. The tea tasting counter is a nice addition. They also have a live music (piano) to give a soft cozy feel to the place.I’d definitely recommend this wonderful café, and hope it evolves over time.Keep it up!
First of all the service was great: attentive, smiling, knowledgeable so the visit started good 🙂 The fresh scones & cream were amazing, so fresh and tasty; the beef wellington was good, but you get to fill up on mini cakes & sandwiches before it so maybe we didn’t appreciate it as we should have. The sorbet served at the end is prepared in front of you with liquid nitrogen and all the add-ons making it a nice experience. Also I really liked the tasting tea table at the entrance where you can smell and taste their teas, making it easier to decide which one to order.
We walked in there too late to not find most of the items in the menu..but what finally came was ok..and the staff was really pleasant..the atmosphere is calm..
I was finally able to experience High Tea. And I’m glad I had it in Caramel. The place was cozy with soothing piano / live music, the servers were all very nice especially the one assigned to us, Ms. Michelle and the food were all divine especially the beef wellington which was served after you’ve had your fill of sandwiches, scones and sweets. Plus of course their teas wherein you can choose and drink as much as you can. With awesome companions plus armed with entertainer vouchers, we really had a great time.
I liked the cafe before the shawrma and falafel station was added . Coffee is really good , I like the afternoon high tea . However the cafe is too classy to have shawarma and falafel . I would like to see the cafe present health fresh concept
There is a wide selection of lovely teas but I just ordered a regular teaThe scones were warm, crumbly and perfect with the clotted cream and jams .
