The Scallops were delicious!Move over to the seafood bar and get yourselves some fried rice topped with Foie Gras, Salmon, or Shrimp. Make sure to try the different sauces with the Crab Legs and Oysters!Don’t get full just yet! Order the Black Cod and end your meal with a Chocolate Bento Box!Delicious! Super fancy place. With very nice location and view at the middle of the sea. However , veryy limited variety of food. It is a Japanese restaurant but they have very limited options of sushi, ura maki, sashimi, and salads. With super small portions for high prices . Not recommended if you are willing to go to a fancy japanese dinner.But very good place for drinks .
We went to nobu for my husband’s birthday. I went before to a branch overseas and ofcourse was met with unbeatable service. The qatar branch was truly a disappointment . The service is RIDICULOUS! Specially when you consider the price you pay. We waited forever to order, to get soy sauce, to get more utensils. We spent the whole night with our hands in the air trying to get some service and it wasn’t even crowded. At one point i Was fed up after raising my hand for 10 minutes straight, while the waiters are chatting with each other next to the kitchen, i got up and went to the reception and requested to speak to somebody. Ofcourse, after that we were bombarded by the staff and they gave us the dessert for free as a reconciliation. Point is, we are not going back and not recommending anyone to go there. First night of 2019 to visit the place with friends to catch up. Place was not crowded on a Monday night and selection of drinks under happy hour are all amazing but regardless of the food menu the fish and chips it was totally unexpected.. when the food came 2 pcs of tempura strips that’s how the fish and chips looks like when you have a bite you will just taste the potato you can’t even taste the fish seems like the fish was tasteless though food presentation was ok.
Lives up to its expectations, it is one of the best Nobu I have been to and everytime I have come out extremely pleased with the quality of food. The only issue that I would like to highlight is the quality of service as that seems to be a little bit unorganised and we need to call on the servers which is a rarity for a fine dining restaurant. The Chef menu is a good medley of dishes and he does surprise us with new additions each time. One of the best places to visit if you are looking for a great meal and the happy hours are an added advantage for pre drinks before dinner.
10/10Went there for dinner and drinks with a friend and the place did not disappoint: great atmosphere & crowd, delicious food and very attentive service. Would recommend.
