  There are a few hotel lobby cafes that are great for meetings or catching up with a friend and Riqqa is one of them.First off, their latte makes any long day better with the first sip! Just sitting in this beautifully decorated space with a cup of coffee and dessert or afternoon tea can make a difference in your mood. Speaking of desserts, majority of the pastries are made in house. Even the little cookies that come with the coffees are pretty good too. Secondly, their staff are always friendly and smiling. I’m sure being surrounded by great decor, sweet desserts and wonderful coffee has something to do with it. mshala.co

  I usually go to Meliã hotel a lot, today I was going through the lobby and I said let’s try this place, I was craving a sandwich and a dessert in a relaxing mood and not crowded, so I checked the sandwich section was small only 4 choices salmon bagel, haloumi roll, tuna club and chicken sandwich, we shared two sandwiches the tuna and salmon bagel, the tuna was good but not impressing and the salmon bagel was huge a lot of dough I prefer it smaller size bagel to feel the flavors of the salmon, the dessert was ordinary so overall experience was normal, high points for privacy and tables allocation and comfort

  For a hotel lobby, I quite like the open space and plush couches. Tables are far enough from each other as to make the seats quite private. There is definitely a business hotel feel to the space, but gets quite cosy as the light softens in the evening. A bit disappointed to know that some of the desserts are procured from outside vendors. boulangerry.com

  My husband is a hardcore tea fan. It was he who suggested this place. And me being no tea or coffee kind of person was really reluctant in trying Riqqa. We actully went in evening so was not ready for dinner either. Hubby loved the tea and i settled for the lemon tart. It was really good. The staff is very friendly and keen to explain the dishes. The menu is good too. The descripyion of different types of tea would take tea lovers to fantasy world. Excellent ambience. theoryxlandlife.wordpress.com

  Location: 2/5Price: 3/5Atmosphere: 4/5Service: 3/5Food 4/5Searched for a place where i could spend myself away from the vicinity of my workplace and i found this. Location was a bit crowded and the surroundings are all under constructions but beyond outside, everything was classically calming. Staffs are all on their smiles and are very approachable. Situated myself near the window but decided to settled near the counter so i could fancied their mouthwatering sweet treats. Walked in the counter to grab a menu. Of course on the list was my favorite green tea (jasmine) which they served within the temperature of 70C and infused within 3 minutes as the staff described me. It was soothingly aromatic as you start to sip and smell. Matched my tea with their cheesecake among others which i had difficulty choosing from their selections and i never regret ordering. hesaidshesaiddoha.com

  A very nice ambiance and classy atmosphere.. Waitress was super friendly and explained everything we wanted to know.. Prices are good and food was tasty.. You should try the lemon tart. Recommend it specially at sunset time.
