When this place first opened, it was all the rage and I saw it on all my friends’ instagrams and snapchats. So I finally managed to visit it one evening and the interior was just as beautiful as in the photos I had seen. It’s a really pretty place to relax with friends or just have coffee while working. I tried their charcoal spanish latte as well as a slice of a pistachio cake. It was pretty good but nothing extraordinary.
I ordered the “Gourmet” pop tarts and this is what I received. Completely raw and with no flavor.
At first let me just appreciate the cuteness of the cafe, its like a girls dream, all pink and white with cuteness overload !Staff is fine !Ordered:Hot Spanish Latte: It was Delicious, loved it, everything was just perfect !-Goat Cheese & Fig Tartine: At First i just loved the combo of salty & crispy fried goat cheese with sweet & soft figs & pineapple chutney, now just the down part was it felt a bit dry, i think the pineapple chutney should have been a bit juicy saucy type paired with the dry crispy goat cheese ball, other then that the flavor combo was amazing !-Creme Brûlée French Toast: Honestly speaking i didn’t liked it at all, the french toast was totally dry & felt like its been made & kept on the counter for hours, & the menu said its been served with creme anglaise, i didn’t found it on the plate? Just a tiny drop on top of the french toast? Really ? !Overall the ambiance was perfect, tartine was good & so was the Spanish latte !
Let me begin by saying I really really LIKE this cafe. I love the ambiance and the coffee and the food here as well.However, the PROBLEM is with the staff and the pricing. The staff here is ALWAYS hovering over you and they keep STARING at you waiting for you to be done with whatever it is you’ve ordered. ALSO, I’ve seen them do this ONLY to a certain set of customers. They smile and they serve the food and appear to be friendly but once they’re done serving they’ll hover over the table or stand to the nearest corner and watch. I think the MANAGEMENT here needs to take care of this. And if you ask them for the WI-FI password, they make a face like you’ve asked them something FORBIDDEN.Also, the prices are HIGH for the quantity of Coffee but then again its the case with all the specialty coffee here. The cafe is absolutely INSTA – worthy but whenever I think of visiting again, I’m put off with the thought of having people hovering over me. oneshotlatte.wordpress.com
Aaaah!!! I loooooove this cafe! Not only is it aesthetic but the food is so guilt free too!! Especially if you want something healthy and delicious, you should try this one out. My personal favorite is the sweet potatoes!!! Their coffee is good as well! Highly recommending it to everyone!
my friend had the charcol drink their iced charcol latee drink caused my friend stomach pain and diarrhea after he drank it . he had the charcole iced latee drink before at Fuel cafee nothin happened to him i dont know what kind o f charcol cue is using ministry of health should go check up on them .place is small and menue is very limited . very small portions compared to the price they charge. food and desserts are mediocre at best nice to take a photo of but no unique taste , didnt like thier cocunut latee at all . service is slow .
Definitely a winner for their super cute interiors! Food menu was limited though and surprisingly small for the price charged! But I’d definitely come back for their coffee and their efficiency!
