  We went for nye to Manko. We paid 5 thousands riyals and we were promised “Nikkei bites” in addition to drinks. The food was bad and too little and was served after midnight anyway. We were also promised to have commercial music and songs and they kept on telling us how great the music will be and at the end it was just loungey music as usual. In addition, they threw balloons on the people who were sitting inside whereas we had a sofa outside and we had to go in to enjoy the balloon thing at midnight in the middle of the crowd. Furthermore, the service was HORRIBLE. A waitress was on the edge of yelling at us just because we asked for diet 7up and diet redbull. She said she is overwhelmed because she is covering more than 5 tables by her own. We repeated our request of diet 7up and diet redbull for 3-4 times until they got us what we wanted (taking in exchange the extra diet pepsi she wrongfully brought because it is too expensive to be left on the table along with our request). In summary, i regret spending nye there and paying all this money for a night that didn’t feel special for me there in any way. Thank you.

  The place had a good start in its first months but it seems to be falling a victim of its own success. Called on a weekend to book a table for 3 couples. They were willing to give me a table if I commit to buying a minimum of two bottles of hard liquor! Seriously?! I’m a repeat customer and have been there numerous times. The request is not only unreasonable but also shows the type of clientele they are seeking; big spenders and show offs. Perhaps this is not the original place I thought it might be.

  Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, the staff was so friendly and gave good recommendations according to what we wanted. The music was awesome!

  One of the best outdoor venues in Doha with an amazing outdoor view, elegant interiors, delicious finger food and unique cocktails. I personally love the place because of the music and the hospitality of their entire staff. I’ve taken many of my friends there and everyone loved it. My favorite cocktail was the Amazonian Punch (which sadly is no longer on the menu), What Else and the Inca’s Tiki, favorite food is the grilled octopus in potato cream, shrimp in thai mayo, sliders, shrimp sushi and king crab sushi.

  Talking about the Ambiance first, it was beautiful !It was a beautiful cold night when we decided to come here and the terrace was an excellent idea to be seated with an amazing view of the beach !The seating was perfect, with the perfect songs playing and i just loved the overall ambiance !Servers were sweet too !We tried their sheesha which was amazing, very smooth loved it!The Quinoa Burger: Basically two Quinoa sliders which were delicious, I’m so craving them again, they were that delicious !Lomo Al Jugo; 400gm Beef Sirloin, good for two, cooked in charcoal oven with veggies and lomo saltado sauce, the sirloin was nice & tender but gave a bit of that raw smell, the veggies were delicious juicy cooked with the steak itself & the sauce was nice too, overall it was nice !Over all loved the experience, it was a beautiful cold night so the ambiance was perfect, sheesha was perfect & loved the Quinoa burgers !

  This beautiful place has a unique ambience that is great to have a drinks after a tasty meal at La Mar. With a date or with friends. Highly recommended to visit and feel the vibe.
