We went here for our anniversary brunch on a Friday.Let’s start with the whole journey; since it’s an island we have to go in a big boat till the resort which was a splendid experience. It’s a good half and hour ride with beautiful scenes of the water! Comfortable boat!As we reach there we’re welcomed with drums and singing which was really nice too!It’s a bit of a walk till the azraq restaurant which was nice too as you get to see and explore the island a bit!If we talk about the food here; it was nothing great. Not much variety and tastes just okay. The whole money is just for the experience of the island not worth the food.

Went for lunch here with my team and I loved it. Had my usual steak and was looking for the mashed potato to pair with it however mashed potato is not available in the buffet. One of the chefs heard me and made me a serving! How cool is that? I also love their wiiiiidddeeeeee dessert selection especially the ice cream flavors that they have (not your standard chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavors). They also have a wide range of sushi selection so it is already a win for me.
Maharaja Night BuffetThe service truly exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped on the pier. I would recommend this anytime, as in spite of the Indian theme night, the food was varied and not too spicy, so everyone could enjoy it. Their desserts will make you forget all about calories counting, so make sure you go here hungry. 🙂
We were surprised of the beauty of Banana Island in general. Azrak restaurant buffet was one of the surprises. International buffet of lebanese appetizers, indian, far east, japanese and others. Desserts choices are extensive enough. We loved this restaurant
I visited Banana island for an office outing and the lunch spread was done by Azraq. The decor was very attractive, the place was very spacious and most importantly the food was very very good. It had indian as well as european spread. It was a buffet so the number of choices were quite a few. I had rice, pappad, butter chicken, grilled fish, rajma. All the dishes were very well cooked and tasted very authentic. The service was also very courtious. Well done and keep up the good job.
