Food is good, but customer service need to be improved. It takes ages for someone to come to you to clean the table, bring the menu and take your order. We sat 20 minutes for someone to clean the table. After 10 minutes the guy brought the menu. We left after waiting 10 more minutes and no one came to take the order (40 minutes), been there couple times and food is awesome.
Worst customer service in Qatar. They only give preference to locals. We had to wait 15 minutes on a dirty table. After we shout at the manager, he came back with an attitude “If you don’t like leave”. That is no way to treat a customer. Never going back to this restaurant. On the bright side the restaurant bang opposite this one serves better food and has polite decent staff.
If we were ranking this place for its food, it was great!!! Super authentic, I loved the eggs with tomatoes and cheese, their beans and the rigag. The place is situated in the middle of the souq and is always packed with people, which is why their service sometime can be a bit slow. This is the place to go to if you want a good authentic breakfast; however the seating area isn’t that great. traveling-foodaholic.om
Delicious food and polite staff. You get more then your money’s worth. I recommend going early and waiting for a table but definitely worth the wait.
Brilliant. If you like traditional Qatari food, then you will fall in love with this place. The taste is amazing. I highly recommend “asida” and eggs with mushroom. The “riqaq” bread is also amazing. You should try the Karak as well.
The most amazing breakfast experience..the eggs with mushroom and cheese was delicious and the flat bread with meat was really good , the tea was just what you need in the morning, besides the food the owners are so humble and welcoming and extremely kind to talk to !
I love this café and their lovely Qatari chef. Her food is amazing. It’s always packed during weekend breakfast time, sometimes I had to wait 1 hour to get my order and there is only one staff who takes order. I hope they will improve this part.
