Tried the Majboos and Harees. The Majboos is a rice based chicken dish similar to Biryani but milder. Harees has is like a gravy dish cooked with mutton. Harees is strictly avoidable here. Majboos is just about ok.
I donno wat i ate at that place is joint to the rest. Next to it! I m reviewing here coz there was no board name on that shop .. It was joint to this rest. (Um abdul aziz) And even i donno the proper name of wat i ate !:pI knw this is qatari cuisine ! Watever b i m jst jst super crazy of this thing! I love eating this ..and this is the only place where i find it tasty! And that women who makes this ..hats off !!! Srsly i appreciate her .. Vil go till souq waqif is alive! :p Alhumdullilah !
If you ever want an authentic, street food like feel to Qatari cuisine, this is the place to have it! I’ve seriously had the best chicken majbous EVER here. I bring my friends from out of town here often as they wonder and discover the many corners of Souq.Their menu and food is identical to their next door friends, so if you can’t find a seat here, you don’t need to fret. It’s a gem really in Doha to find good, cheap food with decent service as you people watch or have loud conversations with friends. mshala.co
