  جربت الكراب سلاد حلو ويستاهل التجربة .. السوشي طعمه حلو وخفيف .. العصير حلو ولكن غير مناسب مع السوشي او اي شي بحري .. ينفع شربه ف البداية بس مع الاكل غير مناسب .. اعطيه المطعم بشكل عام ٣.٥ يحتاج تطوير زيادة

  Mid week dinner with a friend. We ordered the prawn tempura sushi, their strawberry bomb, crab salad, signature ridge, duck salad and stir fried noodles with lobster tail. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very upmarket which epitomises the al Hazm concept. The strawberry bomb was superb – not overly sweet and refreshing with hints of passion fruit.The prawn sushi was perfect. The signature ridge rolls were overly sweet due to the caramelised onions over powering the rich fois gras. The menu explicitly stated fresh crab in the crab salad, though they only had surimi meat (crab stick). It was overly dressed with mayonnaise which detracted from the flavours in the dish. The lobster tail was perfectly executed however it appeared to be served with pasta noodles although I can’t confirm this. The duck salad was perfect though. Duck wrapped in filo and served with rocket salad and watermelon. Lovely. All dishes were brought out at the same time meaning some of the dishes got cold by the time we made our way to it (lobster tail). The server was attentive and cordial. The lady who took our order needs training. She never heard of omakase or the concept, had no idea what surimi was and was also not clued up on ingredients. She was friendly enough just clueless – I think she was front of house. I would expect all staff to understand their menu and ingredients particularly if one is paying premium prices. In conclusion, above average food at hakassan prices.

  If you have not visited Al Huzm mall in Qatar at night it is a must! The lightening makes it so magical to walk thru. And perfectly placed in the mall is Ridge. It offers a beautiful inside and outdoor seating area. The staff is so friendly when you enter and make you feel so welcomed. From the ambiance to the staff next is the outstanding food! The drink list is quite special with all unique glasses and mixtures of mocktails- my favorite was the Fugo Colada served in a fish glass. We started with the seafood miso soup which is full of seafood and not just little pieces. Next we shared the crab salad and ridge fried dumplings which i decided i could eat every day- so good! I have officially found the best sushi in Doha at Ridge Al Cuisine! From the shrimp tempura, the NYC roll, and the Ridge original they all were uniquely flavored and so fresh! We were able to watch the highly trained sushi chef make the rolls and it’s quite impressive to see all that goes in to make them! Lastly if you have room for the main course make sure to try the wagu ribeye – so tender it literally melts in your mouth. Thank you to the staff for making our dinner so special and to the chefs for making our tastebuds and tummies so happy 🙂

  The food was good, the service was horrible. Food came late and the waiters were ignoring us most of the time. They brought the drinks after the food, and the main course arrived late after the sushi did. The food was pretty acceptable, I would go if you don’t mind bad service.
