In our search for some Authentic Iranian cuisine the search was narrowed down to Parisa or Takht-E-Jamshid but then since Elder sis who is now in town visiting us from SJC had already visited Parisa during her last November visit and so we decided to dine Friday lunch @ Award wining Takht – E – Jamshid where we indeed had a very premium and royal experience.Brother who arrived in advance ensured we parked in P1 right near the elevator which would take us straight a floor up to the restaurant which has an access without even needing to enter the premium Mall AL Hazem Mall. From the door step you feel a luxurious entrance with a distinctive stairway and a crystal pendant chandelier , space is clean and very elaborate with loads and loads of dining spaces at all levels inside the multi storied restaurant.Great dining with authentic persian cuisine! The interiors are fascinating! The staffs are quite welcoming and pleasing with some fantastic service by both Mohammed and Nada who provided a full time professional Butler like service catering to each and every need of us all. We were a large family group of 18 pax including 4 small kids and were very well looked after the staff.Overall a great place to have an elegant dine!Food was incredible with some great starters , iranian bread and lovely Mix grills along with Iranian saffron rice and some delicious Gravies to side them.Special thanks for the Chef Moghadam Najari who visited us more than thrice on the table to see how we were enjoying the food and to take any feedback that we had. Very smiling and courteous Executive Chef and for sure we would visit them again and would love to bring some foreign official guests too to taste authentic iranian cuisine. Spice levels can be requested and food is presented just as we need. Only thing slightly negative i felt was the rather small and inconvenient way to the Restrooms which had a very small entrance for a large guy like me to easily enter and exit the wash area and the toilets. In such an extensive restaurant area such a tight and conjested restroom didnt go well with the overall layout of the lavish restaurant. Also to go to the restrooms guests should have to pass through the staffs personal lockers area which i felt was unnecessary too. Price wise its on average Qrs 250 per head and though its expensive i really feel its good value for money.
