Nice place, friendly and polite people. But unfortunately I was disappointed, we ordered a deferent types of meats all was average but only Mandy was slightly better.Meat portion is very small compared to the money and compared to other restaurants. However we enjoyed the liver and the desert.

We were looking for khaleeji food around the souq and we found this hidden place called Sanaa, Yemeni restaurant which is at the back of the main street, let’s say between the main square and the gallery. They have family section upstairs, where you can eat sitting on cushions on the floor, the traditional way. The food is simple but amazing, rice and chicken or meat cooked in 3 different styles, and some appetisers and desserts. The place is khaleeji style, it looks a bit old and shabby, but it feels authentic. I love these kind of places where you don’t pay much and you eat like a king! I would recommend it.
Mandi Lahm, I always bring my visiting friends to this place. They have a nice mandi lahm, and also a private room. Be careful, the place located inside the alley, not in the main restaurant row in souq waqif. If your prefer siting in chair, they have nice room downstair. The downside is that most like all arabic resto, they don’t have varieties of drinks and other side dishes.
when I first came to Doha this was my best place to each traditional yamani food.an average of 60 QAR per person.
