This place is really hidden and i think they rely on word of mouth. No sign on the main street pointing to the place. No sign outside the building as well. Parking is ample. It is located just before Sharq village. One right turn before sharq village, follow the slightly narrow road and you will find the building. The restaurant is located inside an ex-hotel, which only left with the lobby area, swimming pool, small private beach, and tennis court. Go inside the lobby and head to the door on the right. When i came we were the only visitor that night. The staff mentioned that few weeks ago it is very popular because they can serve beer. But the license was expired or something. The restaurant is having an oldies chinese style ambient, complete with a live music which goes along with the oldies style. They serve chinese and italian food. The chef for the chinese is really chinese coming from china (i think). Not sure on the italian food. We ordered chilli chicken: great, Hot and sour soup: not so good, Baked Salt Crab: great, Chicken fried noodle: great, Steamed dumpling: Best that i have ever tasted in Doha. The skin is so thin and the filling is dense and delicious.Verdict:Food: 5Service: 4Place: 4Price: 4Overall: 4.25
