From here only I started tasting baskin robins flavors. Starting from the 7 riyal scoops(First went there at the month end) I have tasted their signature collections. Caramel was my favorite. I used to go there at least once in a week while I was working nearby. Also the month end blast (every 31st of month) was awesome ,it was like a dinner to me and some of my friends didn’t even finish.
Just love it They have offer for 17 riyals 2 scoop of ice cream (any flavor) with caramel or chocolate sauce and 2 kind of topping and brownies . Seriously it’s an amazing deal , totally in love with it .
Though we love Baskin Robbins for its quality, flavour and freshness, today seemed to have been south for us. Today ordered my usual Pralines ‘n Cream cone. At first the ice cream was unusually watery and melted. And after few taste, realised something wasn’t right since I know it’s actual flavour. The ice cream wasn’t fresh and it tasted stale. So I pointed it to the salesman and asked to check if the ice cream was expired. Noted the manufacture date was 08-2018, it’s within export date. So I suspect the poor maintenance at optimum temperature could had spoiled it. Nevertheless, so I asked him to give me a replacement from another batch which was present, but was refused saying it need to be paid. i asked for waste basket and sadly had to drop the ice cream. So it left me wondering why was sub standard ice cream was served at first place and there was no replacement. But I can’t blame the salesman as he’s helpless and he can’t be held responsible for the ice cream quality. B&R need to take such quality issues seriously and assure good product as always to customers, maintaining its brand value. Best wishes and suggest to replace the batch so it not served to other customers. Attaching pic of the manufactured date for reference.
My family and I, we are forever fans of Baskin Robins and we have been to different outlets of BR in Doha.Presently we shifted to Umm Guwalina, the attitude and the way of behaviour of the person at this outlet is VERY RUDE. His name is SURESH KUMAR KARK. Not only rude but also his attitude is what we can’t just tolerate. A person like him will be ruining the good will of a place like Baskin Robins.Usually the sales person used to gave us suggestions on mixing which all flavours, which one is the new taste of the month etc etc, but this person is just hopeless. Not only he is not giving suggestions but also His attittude is “please buy your ice cream and just get out”.The most interesting part we noticed is that he is not behaving in this way to the natives in Qatar.The official people of BR please take this seriously.The low rating I gave is just because of the sales person’s attitude.
The best ice cream parlour for me in terms of taste and money. Must try is their strawberry cheesecake, pecan fudge, jamoca and many other flavours. Just enjoy it.
