– Grilled Skewers concept outlet like those in Souq Waqif. For this category, here I had my best experience, even better than the famous Lama****.- Mixed_Skewers platter for 20 QR comprised of 6 skewers Mutton & chicken kofta (kebab), mutton & chicken tikka (pieces) & mutton livers. All were mouthwatering specially the kofta. Along with rocca leaves & hot thin Iranian bread made my day.- No big variety in dishes rather than appetizers, appetizers here not more than yogurt salad & hummus. Place is dingy & the dining area is narrow having few uncomfortable tables, for sure the value for money are unbeatable. Service is quick as well.- My rating = 4/5=Food (3/3) + values (1/1) + ambiance & hospitality (0/1)- Recommendations:1. not suitable for families or couples.Tagline:Hidden gem that worth a try.
I like the kababs of this place better than Lamzani. The only problem with this place is a very limited menu.. Quality of food is very good. Home delivery is very prompt.
Deera Al Khayyam restaurant is very simple. It’s like one of those please just come n eat and don’t complain kind of places. The selling point is kebabs and tea.Tables are very simple. It’s open till 3am.Food was average. This is like one of those one on meetings. Might not try this place again as Lamzani near Bank street would be my preferred option for Persian kebabs.
