Food / Drink – what would you do if you get to the airport much before the check in counter opens and all of a sudden you are very hungry! Head to the only restaurant before immigration! And it’s a pleasant place with quite a few food options. Noodles, biryani, rolls, sandwiches, Indian, Chinese, juices, coffee, and some meat stuff. Vegetarians have decent options too. The veggie Hakka noodles was good (mind you, to a hungry tummy), hot, lots of veggies, and good portion size. The mango lassi was not too sweet (thankfully!), although mango flavour was playing hide and seek! Overall.. don’t hesitate to visit if hungry.Price – The airport premium is quite negligible. Prices very similar to restaurants in the city. So.. it won’t pinch your pocket like all airport restaurants do. Good value quotient. Although, some prices have to be updated on Zomato menu card.Service – Friendly staff. They take your order. Ask you to take your seat. Once your order is ready, they serve you at your table. Nothing to complain. Ambience – Well lit. Well laid out. Decently organised. Different types of seating arrangement. And did not see it getting very crowded.Location – between row 8-9, towards immigration counters at the end! Parking – Airport parking? Speciality – Quick bites before you board the flight.Must try? – Would you come all the way to the airport if I say yes? And if you are already in the airport, and hungry.. don’t get dissuaded if there ain’t a big crowd. Pro tip – None!
Today while dropping my family at airport saw this beautiful joint named Harvest market. Nice and quite place to have fresh smoothies and Croissant. I had mango pineapple smoothie it was quite nice. Don’t miss this place if you have time.
Staff were friendly and courteous.. They were so apologetic that beef bacon was not available and they will just replace it with sausages.. The serving was big for me I guess but not my beau who finished it in just less than 5 minutes.. The sausages were good and I liked how they cooked the eggs for me.. The coffee was good too.. I guess the only downfall is that it was very early in the morning and most in their menu were not yet available..
Had idli set from here.. Since considering this restaurant is in airport the price is justifiable. But idli was good fluffy, sambar and chutney was delicious.Taste : 4 out of 5Price : 3 out of 5Service : 3 out of 5
