The staff was handling us very well with our orders and table, there is just a miss communication with the staff, when we ordered a cake to surprise our friend, we informed them ahead and advised for the time, yet to our surprise, its 11 already and nobody prepared the caked we ordered, so we waited another 30 min outside, and our surprise got so obvious and ruined. Tip: if you plan to do the same always do a follow-up.
Iris is known all over the middle east for it’s chill music and lounge setup, it has the same look and feel everywhere, in Doha specifically i love the setup, the hosts and the outdoor is amazing as well, I didn’t had the chance to try the outdoor yet, but the inside was great. foodonfilms.com

Great ambiance, the food was good and not that expensive considering the serving. The service was good as well, so I was surprised since the other review said otherwise. Maybe they have already improved. I am definitely coming back =)
(Review sent to Iris team on Monday 11 February, no one bothered to reply). Hello. After careful thought, I decided not to write this review in public and rather send it to you in private. We were a group of 6 persons at Iris tonight and we were all highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the place, for the following reasons:1. The service was bad and very slow. One bottle of water arrived literally an hour later.2. The music was terrible, with all due respect to the Dj and all her unsuccessful efforts.3. While I do understand that people were rushed inside due to bad weather conditions, I cannot fathom why you lack proper ventilation. The smoke and fog inside were so thick that we ended up leaving an hour and half later, after barely finishing our drinks. Maybe you should consider either banning smoking indoors or installing proper ventilation.4. When I called to make reservations, I was informed that ladies night was canceled since tomorrow is Sports day. To our surprise, all the ladies sitting at the bar were benefiting from a ladies night price, while those of us seated on regular tables paid full price.I hope you give this complaint proper attention and maybe try to attend to the comments. It would be unfortunate that Iris Doha is subpar to Iris Beirut or even Dubai. Thank you
