  It wasn’t our first time to dine at L2, Double Tree Inn Doha but last night was the best. Aside from the fact it was a seafood night, it was also my friends birthday. We arrived there as usual, exact time that we were reserved. The feel of relax and comfortable when we were directed to our table with elegantly set up for formal dinner. As we start the buffet and ordered our mix seafood (lobster, shrimp, crabs and squid) served perfectly grilled by the restaurant chef. We begun eating and chatting. Surprisingly one manager/supervisor already asked us if how our dinner and hows our stay which made it more special and the feeling that you are well taking care off. Since were celebrating my friends birthday I request secretly to Catherine if we can arrange a small cake for her without hesitation she said yes. Not to mentioned how she welcome us when we arrived at the resto. She took care of us with glam, homy, contagious smile and personalize costumer service manner. Also I’ll will commend Allaman (not sure about his name) for his prompt and very attentive in all our needs. He never let our needs to be request because he observed what the guest needs and provide it on the dot. This two magnificent staffs were really beyond their job. Not only by performing work precisely but beyond expectation. For my more than 6 years in hotel and F&B industry this is the first time I experienced a perfection in guest relation service. Actually all of the staff were courteous with big sparkling smiles on their faces as you approach them. For the food, I always praised the dishes and presentation. I won’t be returning if I’m not happy with the taste and menu of L2. The wine serve to us was smooth and divine. Desserts are ever sweet and very catchy not just on our eyes but it really heaven in our taste buds. For the management I give 10/10 for ever satisfactory job well done. I just wish we can give recognition to our staff like Cathrine and Allaman who are worthy for keeping and deserves to be recognized in terms of their excellent performance at work. I am definitely sure that we will be back again very soon. And recommendation for L2 to my friends in on the top of my list. Not just because they valued guest money but because the service they provide are incomparable. Location is situated in the heart of Doha, Qatar that is easy to be book over Uber, Careem or Taxi. Again, form the bottom of my heart very much thank you Catherine, Allaman and the rest of the staff of L2.   I was staying at the Double Tree Hilton this time & visited the restaurant for breakfast on October 7 th The area has two sections smoking & non smoking & I was very well assisted in finding a suitable seat.The spread was excellent & they executed my order for poached eggs very well.Good views of the city

  I went to the Friday sea food brunch and was very disappointed. Only a small variety of food with no flavour at all. Sushi inedible.you can order your fish to your taste but the result was very unpleasant. The shrimps were just mini shrimps which weren’t worth peeling.never again

  Service: Courteous and friendly staff and chefs too!Time(s) of visit: Friday seafood brunches with drinks / weekday buffet lunches Food: A variety of fresh seafood selection (fish, shrimps, squids) that you can choose from to cook according to your preference. It was prepared wonderfully by the chefs who even asked you personally how they are to be prepared. I just hope they would add a variety of shellfish as well in the future. Appetizers were the norms like mezzes and salads. I only always look forward to sushi and sashimi which to my opinion were just okay.. and they could maybe have more kinds of sashimi added. Cooked dishes were delicious and they do have a variety of dishes to suit everyone. Spicy, western, asian etc.. were all there to suit every single tastebud. They were also generous in the portions of seafood used in the dishes. I especially enjoyed the seafood soup and bisque. They have several options of drinks that you can choose from and they were unlimited, which in my opinion is a definitely PLUS+++!!!Verdict: I would come to this restaurant over and over again as the food always tasted delicious and i find that the buffets are really a great value for money option for someone who enjoys nice and quality food without burning a hole in the pockets! The kindness and service from the staff is also what made me come back to the restaurant. APPROVED!

  Pathetic food with pathetic attitude from Duty Manager. HILTON please makes sure to check duty manager behaviour during attending customers, also like to add we planned to organise event for 250 ppl, thanks for your attitude & customer service we have shifted our event to other place,will never ever recomend Mawasem to any1,food is not worth the price.. over pricy.. 0 out of 5.
