Nice and simple restaurant with awesome food quality, very good service and in good location.. loved the juice .The most loved places for juices. Very good place to have some excellent and natural juices. You will get excellent juices.
Good Chinese street food in a no frills restaurant. Taste above average, some of it authentic – staff definitely entrepreneurial and ready to make you happy. Menu is quite simple to choose from. As usual I went for the seafood options and was not disappointed but not delighted either. Fried garlic crab and leek with chicken slice were good. For veggies cabbage made by strong fire and the vinegar fungus are good ones to try. Limited but again authentic items for dessert too.
A hidden gem that is a stone throw away from Dragon Restaurant. We have tried their sour-based and spicy-based hot pot which is indeed good, generous amount of fried dumplings I’ve ever had in Doha and sweetened sweet potato. I must agree that the foods were somewhat authentic, but I think they should invest also on their interiors and the English ability of the service crews. But overall, the food and the service is passable. thepromdimemoirs.blogspot.com
Staff don’t understand English and mixup your menu. Food taste very bad. You need to be with a Chinese friends to get better treatment. Bit disappointed as my taste for Chinese food is Spoiled.
The reviews looked great so we decided to give it a try.Unfortunately none of their staff members speaks english. They speak only chinese. Its a tad expensive considering the location and ambience and service. The food is nothing great.Dim Sums have been recommended for this place but i have hd better dimsums in doh.Over all we were very disappointed with the whole experience and we just left all the food without eating much.We dint even bother getting it packed!
This is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet street behind the Mathaf (Museum of Modern Art). The dumplings are excellent. Also try the cumin beef and seafood dishes. I’m not sure if they deliver, but it’d be a real bonus because the restaurant isn’t meant to spend an evening with friends or family.
If this place was not mentioned by friends, it would have been another place hidden in some obscure alley, known to some and unknown to more.. After visiting a chinese food festival, felt like having some more chinese food and thought of giving this place a try.. at first sight, this looks like a chinese version of a malabari joint but the menu features chinese food only.We ordered chicken dumplings, szechwan spicy chicken and spicy fried rice.. dumplings were good.. szechwan chicken was meh meh and the fried rice was not that impressive.. The chicken dumplings seemed to have got their flavouring from an infusion of maggi cubes since they were juicy and had a maggi taste.. nevertheless, i would return to this place just for the dumplings and the serving size was huge!
