The worst Iftar experience I’ve ever had, a total mess, overbooking for the available chairs, so little food can never be called a buffet, impolite and careless staff, very modest seating and cleanliness, won’t recommend it at all

Why cannot I give a rating less than 1 to this restaurant? I visited long ago and believe me, the staff there were so unfriendly to the extreme! And guess what, the food was horrible too! I wished I could give less than 1 as a rating but unfortunately no option available.
This restaurant has a large dining room and always quite even on weekends. I guess they depend on delivery service and catering service more than dining .Food and service was average.
The allure of Venice (the restaurant) will always be lost on me. The gaudy, dated, overtly pompous setting doesn’t represent the food served, which seems to be a mishmash of anything the kitchen fancies. Stopped in for a bowl of soup which was so heavily spiced so as to ruin the flavour of the seafood inside. Judging by the size and staying power, it must appeal to a whole generation of customers, as it’s been around for a long time. boulangerry.com
