  Been here for a friends birthday. The service is very good. The couple owner are very accomodating and the food are yum! Super loved the steamed fish.. and the dumplings.. they also serve good tea before meal

  This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is located inside Al Safa Royal Suites Hotel. We went there for Lunch and we ate the most authentic Chinese cuisine by far, in Doha. The style of cooking is evocative of Shanghai and the 7 counties close to Shanghai. We tasted a range of dishes. Peking Duck, Kung PaoChicken, Braised Tofu with green squash, dumplings, fried lotus roots with minced beef, garlic prawns, sizzling beef, cumin mutton, sweet corn pancakes. The price is reasonable and service is good. There is no valet parking but there is an underground car park close by.

  Best chinies restaurant in the town, as I’m always fond of chinies food . I tried their different noodles as well as spring roll , i was scrumptious indeed , if you are craving for have some chinies taste , you must visit this restaurant.

  Shanghai Memory restaurant is a good one! Its a clean and beautiful restaurant. They have pure chinese food. We liked their buffet, not suggesting for a vegetarian person.No issues for parking.

  My 2nd trip to here. The peking duck 北京烤鸭 and roasted chicken 烧鸡 its nice. Other worth try its the steam egg 蒸蛋 and 水煮鱼。one of the better chinese restaurant in Doha. Service need improvement some time a bit slow

  The restaurant is easy to find however it takes alot more effort to place an order or get any sort of service or clarification from the waiters.We tried this place on a whim and quite honestly were extremely disappointed.The outlet smacks you in the face with all things Chinese in terms of decor but dig a little deeper and one notices that the space was a other restaurant before getting a face lift.The menu isn’t extensive so one would think the staff would be able to advise or suggest items based on preferences- but no. The wait staff had to go back into the kitchen a few times to clarify how the dish was prepared and let us know.We settled for Mapo Tofu, Sechwan Chicken, soup and steamed rice. We asked for Chinese tea too. We had asked if the chicken was cooked boneless and we were told it was.We were brought the soup first (!) Followed by the tea. We helped ourselves and the soup was not fantastic but a good pacifier for our appetite as we were hungry. Then came the Mapo Tofu, and from the pictures you can see that it was oily..more than we had expected it to be. We wanted to dig in but couldn’t. .because they didn’t bring us the steamed rice! We waited for a bit thinking they would definitely have the good sense to know you eat the tofu with the rice – but no. We reminded them about the rice and they said it’s coming. The Sechwan Chicken arrived and had bones (!) And when we called the wait staff to ask about it she was stunned and just looked at the plate of chicken in awe! And we had to remind them again about the steamed rice and from the reaction we got we realised they had simply forgotten. Ok people forget stuff all the time when they are busy but we were the only table! That should have been a warning sign enough.Overall the food was not great and the service horrible and what made the experience worse was that my friend had a very bad upset stomach in a few hours after the meal. Would not recommend this place for friends and foe alike.#whenhungerstrikes
