This restaurant serves the best halwa poori in town more of karachi style. Although the restaurant is a bit far from my place but we visit them atleast once in a month apart form the breakfast their samosas chat pizzas and sandwiches are really amazing. They some how have managed to keep authentic Pakistani taste in all their food menu items. I hope they could extend it into a proper restaurant style. Ambiance 3/5 food 5/5 location 4/5 parking 1/5 the most difficult to find.

I’d been hankering for a good halwa poori for a while. Finally one inspired friday morning, a spur of the moment, haphazard Google search, led us to Soghaat. Evidently halwa poori is not just a Hyderabadi dish. Now this took me by surprise.Filling meal, hit all the right notes. The chick pea gravy, potato curry and the gently flavored sweet semolina (halwa) complimented each other nicely. The pooris themselves were massive. The tables could be laid out better. A faucet would have been nice. And a back door:) The mangoes they had available on the day we visited (July 26), were pretty good. All in all, craving satisfied. As it turned out, more than just the one.

I add aloo chaat and gol gappay (pani puri). The chaat was good but I feel it was lacking something. Maybe if it could be a little runny and not very cold it would taste better. But I like how they served chutney, masla and papri on the side. And for 10 riyals it was pretty decent serving which I think was a plus point. The pani was good too but the water wasn’t sour enough according to me. Also, I feel six puri for 10 riyals is a little less.

Came to know about this place after hearing about their breakfast. Visited one evening to try their chaat and Kulfi. The samosa chaat was very average and didn’t had much ingredients other than the chana. Kulfi was average too with a very grainy texture. The Gajar ka halwa was good though, although had to ask it to be warmed up again as it was served pretty cold after being asked to serve it warm. The place has a lot of sweets to offer. Pricing is decent.Speed of Service – 3/5Ambiance – 3/5Product Quality/ Presentation – 3/5Taste – 2.5/5Portion Size – 3.5/5Value for money – 3/5

Good place for Pakistani Sweets and desi breakfast. The ambiance and presentation are good. Prices are on the higher end. Their sweets are tasty but desi breakfast i.e. Halwa Poori is just average. Pooris were soggy and elastic. Which gives a negative point. Tried their samosas too. Too spicy to be enjoyed

Good place and ambience. Had falooda and samoosa chat. Falooda wasn’t good at all. Had to dilute well to know the taste and was literally sugar water. Samoosa chat was okay. Staffs were not proactive and dint seem to be interested in serving us. Will rate 2.5 out 5 for them.
