We’ve ordered mixed pancit and turon. Pancit is nice, very Filipino. We were just so disappointed when they charge us Qr 25 for the delivery charge. Even if you go from my place to the restaurant it will cost you Qr 15. We ordered a day in advance and they did not mentioned about the DC. When the food arrived, we don’t have choice but to accept it and pay the DC. The very first time we ordered before, we don’t remembered that we pay for delivery charge or maybe we pay but not that much. With 25 riyals we can already order a menu good for 2-3 persons.
It’s a small Filipino restaurant but with variety of dishes to choose from. They are famous for their Turon, its crispness lasts for hours and the taste is still good. I also love their Bopis. The taste is what I’m looking for a long time here in Doha. It’s simple yet savory.
They accepted our orders for delivery but our food never came! Tried calling after one hour but phone is always busy and never received a call back. Our place is just a corner away from their place. Such poor service! Never again!
I haven’t been to their resto personally but I have ordered from them a lot of times already but keeps on forgetting to review them.. Their delivery is fast.. Usually within 20-30 mins they arrive.. I love their Sinampalukan (Chicken in Tamarind Soup) and Kare-Kare.. And their servings are large enough for up to 3 people and still very affordable..Because of this, there are times that they’ll you upfront that they can’t deliver since their delivery guys are still out.. At least there are honest to their clients that have them wait forever..
Great Filipino food! Try the fresh lumpia and chicken bbq. Though everything I guess is yummy. only downside is that they have no delivery and will charge you for it if uou opt for delivery. 🙁
Before i became a certified zoman, we have been ordering from them, for our overtime meals everynight. Simply one of the best filipino restaurants in doha in terms of taste and portions. Authentic and tasty, affordable too!
First time to order tapsilog (recommended by my friend that the serving is good and beef is tender) and it was not as expected. Beef is little, not tender and a dry. The only bigger is the styro where the meal is placed. Never to order again this dish.
