It’s an amazing restaurant. Foods are very delicious and price is very low. You have to visit here at least one time in your life. Especially, meal porsiyon sizes are really big.
The love for Korean food has always been satisfied whenever dining here at Sol’s. Location a little bit tricky. Somehow not easy to locate. Food always will be the best. How it taste and how it is creamy and spicy, definitely the combination. Highly recommended.
My Korean friend said this place was great and very authentic so I went here one night. We ordered the tangsooyuk, kimchi bokkeumbap, the tteokbokki and mandu. Everything was just average to be honest. I personally prefer Tofu House to Sol but that is not to say that the food wasn’t good. Portions are good and well worth the price too.
Currently the most authentic Korean restaurant (without breaking the bank) I’ve tried here in Qatar. Been here like 3 times now to bring friends and family who love Korean food and they all said the same thing.Totally a fan of their Bu dae jji gae and Cheese Dak Gang Jung. Gimbap, Cheese Tteok Bokki and Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap are also ❤️Location is a bit hard to find though, but still totally worth it for me. purplemunchkim.wordpress.com
Authentic yet budget friendly Korean Restaurant. This restaurant is very generous with the servings and quality of their food. Their bibimbap, bulgogi and katsudon are our all time favorite. Highly recommended for people who love anything Korean. ❤️❤️
Tried having dinner here as the reviews and referrals were great. Place is a little bit hard to find. Nothing spectacular with the interiors and overall ambiance. Chop sticks are stainless steel typically found in $ cafeterias, it’s tricky to use if you are not accustomed to using them. Talking now about the food. First, as a custom in Korean restaurants, they served the appetizers consisting kimchi, cucumber and spinach. The seasoning is not at par with other Korean restaurants we’ve tried here in doha. You can taste the massive use of fish sauce, way too salty! We’ve tried their jjam bbong and dumplings. Didn’t even taste like a jjam bbong and the seafood used were not ‘fresh’. Dumplings are so-so. Hopefully, if we happen to decide eating here again, it will be a better experience.
Their shrimp tempura is one of the best tempuras I’ve ever tasted! It’s so crunchy and tasty. Go try it out! Jjampong is really good, you can also ask them if you’re not a spicy food fan, to lessen the spice. Sad part is they don’t deliver.
