Serving Filipino food. Spanish bread, cassava cake, halo halo and buchi are must tries. The place is too basic yet serving its customers with the Filipino warmth. Very attentive staff.
Happy that they have Papaitan everytime I visit. However, I think they are charging too much for such a small cup of rice.Glad also that this place is around to serve taho on selected days. I know it won’t taste the same as in PH but still glad that they have it.
Not bad.. If you want to escape the arabian and indian cuisine all over the country..Papaitan was good.. they use lemon as their bitter taste source if i am not mistaken.. the taste is whole.. not lacking.. Malinamnam..I am just a bit disappointed to their Mechado o Menudo. Maybe I was searching for the Fiesta taste that i knew.. with liver spread and that distinct filipino taste..
Love the food in halo-halo. They used to be open 24 hours. Very convenient for people who go home late from work. I wish they’ll be open again 24/7. Halo-halo , ube halaya and leche flan is the best in Doha. Sitting arrangement could be improved though. Sisig is also good.
Filipino food was nice. Ordered Tinola and Fried rice (they were out of plain rice). Tables were big but space was cramped. Didn’t try their Halo-Halo (Filipino dessert).
