This is one of our favourite restaurants in Doha. We first visited in summer 2012 and have been back about 8 times. We liked it so much that in January 2013, we booked the entire restaurant for our wedding reception. Highlights: ambience – Mediterranean theme, beautiful wood decor, gentle music, and an excellent view over the city. Menu: the breads are excellent (and fresh buns and breads are important to us). Menu selection is not extensive – but also not expensive. One can also choose from the menu of the Stone House Manor ( a bar across the hall that offer more ordinary menu items like beef tenderloin which is excellent). Our favourite appetizer is the shrimp salad (also from the Stone House Manor menu). And, particularly important is the quaiity and price of their wines. They offer bottles of very good wines for only QR 100-120. Where else in Doha can one enjoy any wine, let alone a very good one, for that price? Service: excellent, especially if Rashid is serving you. We asked for him specifically for our wedding and he came in on his day off. Add to it that they have valet parking and coupons for 2 for 1 dinners makes this excellent value and you will see why it has received the score of 4.5.
