This time around food was better. The lentil soup with a dash of lemon was good. From the salad I liked the wine leaves, chicken from the mixed grill. The fish harara was soft n properly spiced. The biryani was also good. Umali was too sweet though.
My brother booked the entire family a table for iftaar. I wasn’t happy about this to be honest. One thing I know about this locality is there is serious parking issue. Got there and as expected streets are narrow, one way and no parking. Thankfully, hotel has valet parking and surprisingly there is a small parking lot they have right in front of the hotel. Much to my annoyance, my car was still in front of the hotel without a driver after giving the keys to the hotel valet guy. I got to restaurant and my car was still in the ‘valet’.After i had stopped biting my finger about my car, i turned my attention towards the interior of the hotel and i realised we didn’t need a booking. Most of the tables were vacant. However, i was surprised with the interior of the hotel. I was rather good. The food was nice too. Restaurant is small but ambience is nice. Good furniture and friendly staff. No prayer room though, when you’re out on an iftaar deal it’s kinda annoying. All in all a good deal. A family dinner wouldn’t be an issue any day, just don’t look outside or notice where you’re going until you get inside.
Tried the iftar buffet and it was quiet disappointing. The spread was bland and lacked freshness or flavor. Absolutely no value for money. Lack of interest in quality of food was undeniable. Will not recommend this place.
Good value and a nice experience for a quiet evening. Went for a Friday buffet. Small quiet place, not much of crowd. Exceptional hospitality. Everybody from the valet onwards were welcoming and the standards were maintained till the valet saw us off at the car park. The spread was limited but well made and delicious. Enjoyed the evening and will visit again for casual dining. My compliments to the hotel staff.
Couple of us went for buffet and all of us had the same opinion-disappointing !! Not really quality food. The food was cold, the steak was bad,the gulab jamuns tasted like canned ones, nobody bothered to refill the food !
Good buffet breakfast n bright cheerful ambience! Spread not too lavish yet enough.
