Well first it is not a place for dinning in so you order for take away..i never sat there .For the food it is authentic egyptian grills it tastes like the ones in egypt, however if this resturant was in egypt it won’t be on of the best , but as the compitetion here is low so it is considered to be one of the few who provide the authentic egyptian taste.I bought from them many times , the taste is constantlike 70% of the time , i usually enjoy eating from themSpecially the kofta and tarb, some times the lamp shops are perfect some times it is too dry but over all i recommend to any want carving street style egyptian grill
Tried this with two other colleagues long ago. We ordered some grills but were absolutely of no good taste and I felt kind of disgusted of how unclean this place was. I dont recommend at all.
One of the oldest Egyptian restaurants in Qatar. Their grilled food tastes good and a lot like how it tastes in Egypt. My favourite are meat kofta and tarb ,they are really good.But I have some issues with the resturant, although the food is tasty, the place it self is not very clean and the overall atmosphere isn’t that great. Also for some reason they don’t care about making good sandwiches ( one time I got kofta sandwich it was only kofta and bread that’s it. No tahin or salads).Overall I recommend taking grilled food for takeaway.
Egyptian restaurant .My favorite order is grilled goat meat . Soup is also delicious and tasty but gravy. Hawawshi is a traditional Egyptian meal made of spicy meat mixed with onion and covered with two bread and baked in the oven.
Yes it is not clean and staff is not that you will like but its kofta and tarb are very delicious and you should give them a try They have also fata and hamam
I was always buying fresh Egyptian meat from their outlet and it is good, but one friend of mine told me that their food at restaurant also good so I gave it a try.The 2.0 evaluation for taste of kofta as it is the only good thing there.Bad seating, bad lighting, poor service, toilet is total mess, menu is poor and the waiter was shocked when I asked for menu like it is not appropriate to choose food from a menu.Hawawshi was greasy and not fresh.Not recommended, never go there again.
The worst ever restaurant in Doha and bad Egyptian food. Bad reception and gloomy atmosphere with dirty table and unfriendly staff. Nothing more can be said.
