This is one of the first restaurant , from where I used to have the dinner in my initial days in Qatar life. The place is calm and the service was good. Tried their kofta with rice and bbq chicken. All of them where cooked well and it was soft and flavour full.
One of the best grilled chicken in town, wonderful aroma, it is very light, and perfectly cooked. The fries are freshly made. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. The taste is worth a visit for. It is served with a perfect garlic sauce. I have tried the kofta sandwich and rice too but nothing compares the irresistible taste of the chicken. The service is Fast and the Staff are very friendly.
I love their chicken kofta sandwich and would never stop to pass by them for this alone. Kofta with rice is good too. Have tried their chicken but is not upto the mark.
what i like about al tazaj is that thier quality is consistent.. the same taste since more than 10 years, i like the taste of thier chicken, garlic sauce, basbosa and how simple is there menu but if this chain want to run in the future it needs rebranding, maybe adding items in the menu. i go there because i went when i was young i don’t imagine new generations going there now.
We’ve been visiting this restaurant since the year I came to Doha and the decors and furniture remain the same. The chicken are still tasty though but smaller in size and the bread is not as soft as before.
It’s a miss or hit with them, sometimes the chicken is fresh and tasty (with pipping hot bread) and other times it tastes funny as if it is not fresh/good quality (with dry and rubbery bread). A couple of years ago the basboosa was really nice, now it’s dry and not appealing at all.
