Loved the ambience of Amara restaurant. Coming to the food the starter was juicy and well cooked. We ordered Murgh tikka masala for the main course and find the gravy bit sweet. Rest the drink was ok to me. Will try some other menu option next time.
Amara I thought was fine dining but it’s not. The place can be made more neat if the seating can be done nicely.Ample of space but not used appropriately. Onions given were stale as if cut since days, though it got changed immediately post complaining. Food I will give 5/5 as it was very tasty and fresh. We were attended by Jaspal he was quite nice and friendly. Best dal makhani in doha and even mutton Rahra was very delicious. Very good mutton used. They accept “Mybook Qatar”

On our way back from Salwa Road we stopped at Amara for dinner. Ordered Jhinga Tawa Masala – which had some good pcs of tiger prawns but felt sweetness in the gravy. Also ordered Mutton Seekh which had extra spices blended in it and we couldn’t eat more than 2 pcs of it. Carrot juice, Tandoori roti, Lachha paratha, mint mojito were fine but the food was served on our table approx 30-40 mins after placing the order. Ambience of the restaurant is good. The funny part was that our main-course came before the starter. Anyways, the service crew was quite welcoming and made us feel warm throughout. Food recipes can be reviewed to fetch creamy crowd. Parking can be challenging during the weekends.
