Lots of hype for Tandoori Chai and recommendation to this Cafeteria, landed me to this cafeteria. I was curious and excited to know the process of making TANDOORI CHAI.Glimpse of chai making you can understand by looking at all 9 images.When you take the 1st Sip, i loved the taste of it. But after few sips, i found it to be powdery and fussy liquid. I checked with staff and got to know it made from ready made masala. It seems it doesnt contains milk. First time i wasnt impressed with taste of this tea, hence gave a try again after few days. Trust me, the taste was same and i gave up this time.May be some people liking the taste and method of this tea, but a big NO from my side.
Their was a lot of hope regarding the Tandoori Chai of this place. And also had a quite good reputation as well. But me and friends never felt so. In fact just a gimmick. The tea was served after it wad poured into a small clay bowl taken out from the oven. But for me it was taking like a pure masala tea. Nuthing more.
First time tried Tandoori tea in Qatar and its a good experience. Price for Tandoori tea is 3 QR and its worth for money. Ambience of this resturant is good but little bit conjusted. Not sure whether they have separate family space or not.I will like to try other items from the menu but as of now my recommendation is to must try tandoori tea here.
