Stunning interior design, excellent food, a big plus for the smoking area and the summer dining discounts, special mentioned to Ms. Zoe, who took care of us, she’s really attentive and adorable, very friendly indeed. She got 5 Stars from me. Thank you very much to the Management team for making my day extra ordinary one, for the freebies sweet cake & greetings plus the couple picture frame you made for us. Our experienced with you is awesome with your authentic chinese food. More power to you! God Bless.
Impressive interior. Friendly staff. Authentic Chinese food. I came here because i heard they are serving San Mig beer but i was shock when i taste all that we ordered. Hahahaha we set aside the beer instead we enjoyed the food. Keep it up!
Ambient: is attractive. It makes people relaxed.Food: presentation of foods are better than their tastes.Price: Price is comperatively higher when it is considered based on food tastes. My wife and I could not agreed should we come here again or not.Sinem Demirci
Wondering why scored so high, as it is not authentic Chinese food and no way it is Cantonese food. Every dish is totally different from what they should be. So disappointed. What’s the worst is that food is too salty. Especially the fried noodle with beef. It’s a famous Cantonese main dish. But for here, it has too much salt and beef is becoming deteriorated with sour taste. And for the soup, there is no gourd in clear soup and there is no vinegar in songsao fish soup.
Nice place for a casual dinner. The ratings in a scale of 5 is as follows:Ambience 3/5: AverageService 5/5: Courteous, prompt, helpfulFood 3/5: Average. I do not think it is authentic Chinese. The noodle soup with shrimp wonton was great. The Prawns in Schezwan Sauce & cashewnut and The Wok Fried Duck slices in sweet walnut and soya sauce left a lot to be desired. Helpings are generous. Will I visit again. Maybe yes, for a casual meal only.
Last time I was in ruby they failed to impress me but today I’m really happy with their dishes. I had the szechuan shrimp with cashew nuts and sliced beef with ginger and onion.. two simple dishes but really flavorful and cooked perfectly. The cashew nut in shrimp dish were sesame coated and it was a good surprise.
Great ambiance, great service and great food. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Doha. Everything is always good and prices are very convenient considering the quality and portions.
