Let’s start with the decor ♥️♥️ Absolutely loved the red and black look. It gives a nice touch of the Chinese culture. Getting to the food, definitely a good Chinese restaurant to visit in Qatar considering the food. They provide a complimentary of prawn crackers in the beginning and a fortune cookie at the end of the meal which is a great touch. We ordered the prawns dim sum for the starters which was very delicious. We then had the noodle soup with prawn wonton which was a little bland for my taste. But the portion was ample for 4 people. For main course, we relished the sautéed chicken, fried noodles hing king style and stir vegetables. We were too full to go on with desserts. But I’m sure they would have filled up to the standards as well. The prices are also not very expensive for the quality of food and the ambience provided. Would definitely recommend this place for a good Chinese family or corporate dining.
We stayed in Radisson and for dinner wanted to walk to Barrio Fiesta, but got lazy and instead tried this Chinese restaurant in the hotel. They give crispy Prawn crackers for free upon sitting. They also give hot towels. The place is dark with red colors. There’s a small canal with bridges on the main dining area.We ordered fried vegetable spring rolls, fried egg noodles with shrimp and chicken, chicken dimsum, Peking Duck, and pot meal noodles soup. They serve the noodle soup first and I liked it specially the noodles and the wonton. The Peking duck was gobbled up by my daughters. The fried noodles was the best I’ve tasted because of its aroma of seasonings.Dimsums were big and tasty.Spring rolls were just right and not too oily.Service is top notch specially Joel. They also have fortune cookies. My two little daughters got fortunes that spoke of love which they cannot relate with as they’re too young. They are the only Chinese restaurant I’ve been to that serves fortune cookies although I learned from a Netflix documentary that in China the fortune cookies are not served. They were introduced by the Chinese immigrants in the USA.I highly recommend this place.
