If you are craving for Indian street food, this is a must-try! Personally, I love their chaats. Staff are friendly. It is a clean place. Only con- it gets a little crowded & have just a few tables, being a cafe. Sometimes, we need to wait for few minutes to get a table.
Having a manager on the counter who speaks politely doesn’t work if you cannot deliver.Ordered online.. The manager called in about 15 mins and spoke nicely to send the location. Sent the location immediately. Almost two hours to the order when there was no delivery I tried calling the restaurant, couldn’t get to connect on any number. The number that asked for location didn’t answer. Complained to zomato via chat, they said they cannot connect to the restaurant either and asked to wait. 10 mins later I requested for cancelation. Sent a whatsapp on the same number for cancelation and they immediately called back.To top it all, the driver is telling me that he was busy delivering other orders because the other customer said they want urgently. Does that mean they’re paying more? Or am I paying any less? Besides, I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any such customer.In short service is too slow and terrible.
Zaffran Cafe, it’s authentic and tasty Indian street food and sweets (unparalleled in Doha) and the smiling staff there, especially Anup and all the other staff makes us go back there as often as we can. The Friday morning breakfast is what we love the most – don’t miss the kanda Poha and sabudana vada amongst other delicious items.
I ordered 3 dishes- 2 chaats + 1 sandwich.The restaurant called to inform that the sandwich was not available. The staff who called was not polite about giving options to replace the order, only when I said that they cannot give me whatever they choose, was I allowed to choose a replacement!Then afterwards when the order was delivered, the delivery boy said you need to pay more for the replacement as it is 1 QR more than the amount I have already paid online!This is really wrong behaviour by the restaurant. First, you don’t have my order available and still you accepted my order. Second, I was never informed that there is any price difference when ordering. Third, I made the payment online via Zomato app so if there was any difference that’s how it should have been requested to be settled. Really poor handling of the situation, sorry to say.The food itself is good but the experience overall was quite poor.
My family and I love this place. Not only they have delicious foods but they have an excellent service.
I am a regular customer to this place..but the person at the counter was so rude. I LOST MY APPETITE. The portion of food is reduced. No customer satisfaction. Now I can say I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER. Try other chat places way better service. I think this place takes customers for granted. I lost the trust in this place. Not recommended.
