We had an amazing brunch with my friends here at choices restaurant at Rotana Oryx this friday , everything was really so nice , the atmosphere, the music , the food and the staff was great specially the super wonderful Ms.Glen who was observing and taking good care of every single detail.We highly recommend this restaurant.

Enjoyed weekend lunch buffet at the CHOICES in Copthorne Hotel. First, I was disappointed with car parking arrangements, you drive into basement parking only to be told by security guard that a token is required from hotel management to allow you in. Hotel management should take note of this bizarre method and improve on parking arrangements for customer convenience. In terms of restaurant however, it has a nice dining area with friendly and attentive staff. The salad bar is excellent with many varieties to choose from, including a small selection of sushi rolls. The mains are average with limited choices, no seafood offered for lunch buffet except grilled fish. However, the dessert selection is good with a generous spread of cut fruits, mini cakes and cup mousses. The entertainer is accepted but with no drinks or juices that usually is in buffet menu, this really is odd. The cost of lunch buffet is QR 130 per person which is comparable with other similar places. Overall dining experience is good, but there is no woo factor here either.
A good normal international buffet for QR 88 with Water &a Juices included. Nothing to fancy, but what they have is good. Got a splendid salad bar. Stir fried beef was good. I like the Moroccan (or Egyptian) rice very much. The cinnamon flavor is really good and tempting. Fish cake is also good. Desert bar is not too crowded but got good cakes and mousse and fruits. The best thing is it is not crowded and have a lot of tables. So you can actually relax and enjoy.
Very good value for money, for 130qr you got a full international buffet including water. They have an elegant smart appetizers selection. It is inside a 4 stars hotel but for sure this chief from a 5 stars hotel background
