About

Specialty coffee. All Day Breakfast. Visual Art. Not necessarily in this order. ARTICHOKE is an independent coffee shop in central Bucharest serving all day breakfast and specialty coffee. We want people to feel inspired when meeting up their business partners or friends while enjoying our Transylvania organic teas, London specialty coffee, in-house made juices and coffee friendly cakes. We work to create an exciting environment for visual arts enthusiasts by hosting regular photography exhibitions and building bridges between art makers and customers. At Artichoke we strongly believe everyone's creativity is fuelled by social interactions, so our aim is to create a place that inspires people to take small, everyday actions that can add up to a big difference in the city.

A very simple cafe, pay and sit for the ordered things.Should try the regoinal cheese sandwitch based on 3 goat cheeses. The coffee served prety cold and asked for replacement and got another cold coffee, that is just the one minos thing.

The coffee was very good, although I don’t like the fact they don’t offer water with your coffee. The place is quiet and relaxing, the personnel kinda bored, but all in all I enjoyed my coffee break here

Great tea/coffee shop in Buccharest nice districts just next to the Ateneul Roman and the Muzeul National de Arta. Different kind of lemonades and juice, varieties of homemade cakes and wonderful terrace.

Lovely atmosphere, great location, quiet yet close to central visiting spots and very good coffee! The dairy alternative was out of stock when I visited, but hopefully it is now readily available to match the demand 🙂 recommended and will revisit!
