About

The reason that Alioli exists is that a family of Romanians could not stay away from their native country. After spending eight years in Spain we have returned to Bucharest to prepare genuine valencian and andalusian dishes. Denia, the Spanish town hosting the most numerous festive days, is located two hours away by boat from Ibiza and is nestful of entertainment for thousands of tourists and used to be our school and playground. It is there where we learnt what the Spanish gastronomy is all about, what is the essence of the Spanish spirit and how to turn clients into friends. At Alioli one will always find plates full of genuine Spanish food and not only a presentation menu for tourists lost in the attractions of Bucharest. Our kitchen is managed by a Spanish chef who has been cooking only Spanish dishes for more than three decades. The ingredients he uses come directly from Spain, from reliable suplliers. The fact that among our clients there are numerous Spanish expats who dine here daily and that the Cervantes Institute has chosen us as permanent partner for their own events it is an honour and proof that our Spanish food is not only tasteful, but also genuine. We will be waiting for you at any time for a tasteful lunch or a special dinner accompanied by the best sangria in the city, by a remarcable paella or by any of the tens of other tasteful dishes which we prepare with love for Spain and love for the life.
