The base was probably built in the 19th century and it got the third level and the present design in the early 1920's. The house belonged to Mr. Eugene Fenster in the interwar period, but we do not know many things about him beside his 1947 phone number. In 1950 it was nationalized and it was used by several families until 1990. After that, it became the property of the state, in the use of the Foreign Intelligence Service. Eugene Fenster's heir regained the property of the house in 2007. Since then the house was not inhabited and later was sold to a private person. In this capitalism-communism-post communism succession it was our turn to intervene. The house was not inhabited for many years already and in a obvious state of decay. We started to repair it. We kept everything was possible. During the reconditioning work we discovered what was once a beautiful, spacious and friendly house. We have discovered it's secrets and imperfections and started to love her with her charm of a stylish old lady. We continue to work on it every day, to repair and descover.
