About
Feodor I. Shaliapin and his singing symbolise the width and the depth of the Russian soul, and the choice of his name for our restaurants is far from accidental. Our first Shaliapin restaurant welcomed its first guests in 2001, far from the bustle of the city, in the village of Repino traditionally and still a favourite haunt of artists, musicians and writers. It breathes the unique atmosphere of the 1900s. With tactful irony we reconstructed the St Petersburg art nouveau style, and then tempered it with Russian hospitality and geniality. The picturesque Baltic Sea coast, close by the restaurant, the charm of a country estate, the generosity of Russian cuisine, the cordiality of the owners these are some of the reasons why people visit this country restaurant again and again.
