Well, it may not be Paris but the eclairs are absolutely lovely. Selection is limited and it’s in an old converted Kiyovu house but it’s wonderful.
Nowadays it is for Baso more important that they sell their croissants in big quantities to other shops than to customers who are visiting their bakery.
I was introduced to this place by a local and their croissants are amazing. The staff are very kind and friendly. The cappuccinos and americanos are some of the best I have ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Baso was a great place to relax with a pastry and coffee! The eclair was delicious as was the coffee. There was nice seating outside and the service was friendly.
This shop is nestled in the hillside just beneath the Marriott with an AMAZING view. Very small, just a few tables, but both the coffee and pastry were outstanding. As in all of Rwanda, the service was impeccable.
