About
Vivid, scarlet flowers and bright green leaves are the flamboyant details that make up the Poinciana tree. Many natives of the island can recall having Sunday school under the shade of the Poinciana tree, playing the childish "cock and hen" game with the flowers or running through the streets with its dark seed pods freely called "shack shack". The Flamboyant, The Poinciana is a name reminiscent of wonderful warm memories, hearty laughs, fun with friends and a history that we have grown to love and cherish deep within us. All this is why the name Poinciana was chosen as it defines all that we desire our customers to feel when they enter our door. Seta Janudoo, owner of the Poinciana Restaurant for many years dreamt of creating what she knew would please the people of St. Kitts/Nevis and all who grace our shores. After being in the hospitality industry for over 20 years Seta saw Poinciana being a venture that would finally fulfill what she had been dreaming of. Fine Cuisine, Romantic Atmosphere and Warm Exceptional service are a few phrases that define the Poinciana Restaurant. Serving Lunch and Dinner in a harmonious garden setting is all you will need to calm your day or bring an end to a wonderful evening with that special someone. The exceptionally striking tree is the only word we could find to describe everything that we offer. The Poinciana restaurant, where the food is FLAMBOYANT.
