Since 1936, located in the very heart of Belgrade, Klub Knjizevnika proudly carries the status of an iconic restaurant and must-visit place on the cultural and gastronomic map of the city. During the past 70 years, the restaurant has been host to a myriad of famous people, from Ivo Andric to Elizabeth Taylor. In this time, both Belgrade and Klub Knjizevnika have changed, yet some things remain the same: great food, a great ambiance and unique atmosphere. As of October, 2019 Chef Patron Branko Kisi with his team has joined the restaurant. Chef Kisi and his team believe that food represents culture and national identity. Therefore, they are combining finest local products used in Serbian cuisine with international ingredients. While keeping true the original flavors, the Chef is also focused on French cooking techniques. Team's mission is to renew Serbian cuisine with the world gastronomic DNA while staying focused on country's delicacies and signature dishes.
