  Dining experience was “disturbed” by photographers taking photos of the surroundings n the food. One of the photographer had her camera pointed at me and my date which make us felt intruded upon . We confronted the photographer n also gave feedback to server. It was stopped but totally unnecessary and unprofessional (photographer and ash)

  Went here for a weekend lunch and enjoyed our experience. Service was amazing with the staff super helpful, polite, and lighting fast with everything. For lunch they offer a buffet which isn’t as full on as other hotels but also priced according, with still a fantastic selection. The only downside are the eye watering drink prices. $17++ for a standard 333ml bottle of beer as an example. This hotel is great too, with lovely colonial style architecture and top shelf delivery.   Dinner at Ash & Elm is always a great experience. Staff are professional and responsive without being intrusive. Food is very tasty, served prompty and thoroughly enjoyable. Keep up the great work.

  Had the best breakfast at Ash & Elm. I love their breads and even their cereals. I also love the coffee I ordered. You may enjoy a buffet or you may order through their menu. The location is beautiful as well. They have this kind of roof that gives natural lightning to the whole area. This is a must try restaurant in Bugis area of Singapore. princessdulaca.com

  We flew in from different parts of the world to celebrate a friend’s milestone birthday and we stayed in the hotel and have the pleasure of dining in this restaurant a few times during our stay.Whether for breakfast or brunch, the service was phenomenal.Food selections were plentiful and presented very well, more so during brunch. Food was great for most part, especially during breakfast.Price was above average but I thought we have got our money’s worth.Highly recommended and come on empty stomach as both your eyes and stomach will be leaving delighted and well-satisfied.

  Had a memorable birthday celebration at Ash And Elm on 9 Sep with my family. Great ambience and excellent food. We especially enjoyed the Tomahawk, seared Foie Gras, seafood linguini. Although the iberico pork chop is listed as chef’s recommendations, it was tough. It didn’t work for us as we had tasted more tender chops. We also ordered the mash, simple and smooth mash. We ended our meal with the baked to perfection Grand Marnier Soufflé – a perfect and delightful dessert and the complimentary chocolate birthday cake.One feedback I would like to provide is that we ordered the tomahawk first whilst looking at the menu because there is an indication of 30mins. However, the tomahawk arrived in around 10-15 mins. We weren’t sure if it was for us and we checked with our server who then told us that it also depends on the doneness. So the tomahawk arrived on the table even before we were served the bread basket and in the next few minutes all the other dishes were served. The entire table was filled up and I had to tell the server to remove the small plates for the bread. The bread basket served with plain butter and seafood was the bomb and a pity we didn’t get to enjoy it slowly.Nonetheless, it was a great meal. And don’t forget to like and follow Ash and Elm on Facebook and they will reward you with a glass of complimentary cocktail.

  Second visit in two months, and food was just as fantastic! Came with the entire fam and got to try a whole lot of dishes, with every item cooked to perfection. Can’t wait till my next time back!
