I’ve read that this place was one of the best restaurants for dim sum in Singapore so we went to check it out. The place is super tiny, in a very basic decor/tables etc (plastic tables, chairs, which we don’t mind). Staff are here but not talking to you at all. They drop the menu on your table, you write down the items you want on a piece of paper and they bring them.The food was good but not memorable either and quite frankly expensive for the overall “experience” (30 dollars for 4 items and two drinks).This place is not bad but I wouldn’t go back if i had only a couple of days in Singapore, I’m sure other places have same food quality and a service worth of that name.
A late night place to go if you are crave for light meal and dessert. Century egg porridge, dim sum, tiny-but-superb fried wonton and its sea coconut ice are my favorites
Been there several times in the past, felt that the size of certain items seem to go down in size. Taste is still generally good. 24 hours eating place in the centre of Geylang. We went at 7.45am so were the only ones inside. Do not expect too much ‘customer service’ in this busy place. The staffs are definitely nice people (mainly from malaysia and china).
